Transfers within one bank (so-called internal) are the fastest – in most cases they are booked immediately. Therefore, if the accounts involved in the transaction are kept in one of the banks, where we have an account, then we will receive a transfer of funds for the exchange from you very quickly, and you will not wait long for the exchanged funds to be transferred to the destination account.
If your accounts are held in banks other than those where we have our accounts, then the processing time is extended:
- PLN – interbank PLN transfers are booked in Elixir sessions – each bank has about three outgoing and incoming sessions per day; it takes from several hours to one working day for such a transfer to be booked in the destination account
- EUR – a SEPA transfer is applicable for both foreign and domestic transfers in EUR. It is booked within a maximum of 2 working days
- Other currencies – in domestic transactions, funds are booked up to 3 working days, while transfers from foreign banks may be booked longer – up to 7 working days (in the case of countries that do not participate in the SWIFT system)
