The cost of a foreign transfer to InternetowyKantor.pl depends  only on the fees set by your bank and intermediary banks. Before making a transfer, it is worth looking at the Table of Fees and Commissions of the bank from which you will be sending funds to your Polish bank account.

Is there a minimum amount of currency that can be sold from a foreign account?

Yes. We want to provide you with profitable transfers, so we have introduced minimum amounts that you can exchange with us when transferring money from abroad. You can check the minimum transfer amount for each currency below:

What is the required format for a foreign account number?

If you want to send a foreign transfer, enter the recipient’s account number in the IBAN format. It usually consists of the following parts:

  • country code (2 letters)
  • checksum (2 digits)
  • bank and braunch code
  • actual account number

If the country does not participate in IBAN (this applies to, among others, Australia or Canada), then the basic bank account number (BBAN) and additionally the SWIFT and Branch Code should be provided.

What is the cost of a transfer from a foreign account to InternetowyKantor.pl?

The cost of a foreign transfer is calculated according to the Table of Fees and Commissions of the bank from which the transfer is made. SEPA transfer, dedicated for transfers in EUR, in some countries is free of charge, or its cost is included in the account maintenance fee. In other cases, the fee for this transfer is usually the equivalent of about PLN 5.

Currencies other than the euro are normally processed as foreign SPOT/SWIFT transfers. Typically, the cost of the transfer is charged as a percentage of the transfer amount (e.g. 0.5% of the transfer amount) or there is a fixed fee depending on the size of the transfer (e.g. transfer of up to GBP 5,000 – cost of GBP 10). Banks also often offer the option of express/urgent transfers, but these are more expensive than standard currency transfers.

Foreign transfers may be additionally charged with intermediary bank costs. If such costs are incurred, InternetowyKantor.pl will receive the deposit reduced by their sum.

Can I exchange only part of the currency transferred from a foreign account and get the remaining amount back?

In the case of currency transfers received from foreign accounts, it is not possible to exchange only part of the transferred amount. It is also not possible to exchange some currency and get the remaining amount back.

Can I cancel an exchange after I have deposited funds from a foreign account?

Yes, it is possible to cancel the transaction and pay the funds out.

Note! If you cancel the transaction and we send you the indicated amount, your bank may charge a fee for accepting a foreign transfer. This fee will be charged in accordance with the Table of Fees and Commissions of your bank. Please contact your bank to find out if you will be charged. Foreign transfers may be additionally charged with intermediary bank costs. If such costs are incurred, you will receive the amount reduced by their sum.
