Frequently asked questions

Where exactly can I find the account number to which I should send the funds to be exchanged?

The appropriate, up-to-date account number for a given transaction can be found in the Customer Panel after setting the transaction parameters in the “New exchange” section and clicking on the “Next” button. The account is called “Our XXX account” with a currency symbol replacing XXX. Always make sure that it is compatible with the currency you want to transfer to us.

Different account numbers are used in order to possibly shorten the transfer execution time. Therefore, we may provide you with a different bank account for each transaction type.

Why do we ask you not to change the transfer title?

In the transfer details for each transaction, we individually specify the title with which the payment should be made to ensure that the exchange is carried out as per your order. If you do not use this title, the payment may be incorrectly posted or exchanged.

Can I have the funds exchanged sent back to another person or institution through your service?

Yes, it is possible, within the framework of the payment services we provide. In the Customer Panel, in the settings, under “Bank accounts” when adding an account, indicate that you are not the owner of the account and define the exact details of the person or institution to which it belongs. Then, when creating a new exchange, select this account as the target account. In the next step, you can opt for the “At the rate of…” exchange scenario. Once the transaction is concluded, we purchase the selected amount for you, thus securing the rate for your exchange.

When ordering the exchange and selecting the account of the person to whom you want to send the funds, you can also choose the option of manual approval. Once you have made the transfer for the exchange, as soon as we receive it, you will be able to approve the transaction to the recipient at a rate that suits you. Please make sure then which destination account has been selected from your list of accounts.

As a reminder, the payer of the transfer is Currency One – the operator of InternetowyKantor.pl – and it is their details that will be given on the transfer. In order for the recipient to identify that the payment comes from you, we suggest adding a title for the outgoing transfer next to the account in question, where you will be able to give your details or, for example, contract details.

How can I send the exact amount to the recipient?

This possibility exists within the framework of the payment services we provide. In the Customer Panel, in the Settings, under the tab “Bank Accounts”, when adding an account, indicate that you are not the owner of the account and define the exact details of the person or institution to which it belongs. Then, when creating a new exchange, select this account as the target account. In the next step, you can opt for the “At the rate of…” exchange scenario. Once the transaction is concluded, we buy the selected amount for you, thus securing the rate for your exchange. When ordering an exchange and selecting the account of the person you wish to send the funds to, you can also select the manual approval option. Once you have made the transfer for the exchange, as soon as we have received it, you will be able to approve the amount you have chosen at a rate that suits you. Can a transfer sent from another person or institution be credited to my account on your website?

No, because in order for us to post the payment, the data from the transfer must match the registration data. The details of the transfer ordering party must match the details of the profile owner.

Can I add to my profile an account number that has already been added by a person who is a co-owner of this account?

Yes, the same bank account can be added to several profiles. If the account has two owners, they both have profiles in InternetowyKantor.pl and have added the same account, then when we receive a payment, we will automatically post it in the profile of the User whose data comes with the transfer. To be sure that the transfer is credited to the correct account in our system, in the transfer title, apart from the standard title, include the email address associated with a given profile (instead of @, you may enter “(at)” or a dot “.”).

Is it possible to cancel an exchange transaction after the payment has been credited?

Yes, the User may cancel a transaction at any time before confirming it. Funds are sent back to the source account usually within an hour. Our service operates 24/7 and our Customer Service is open on working days from Monday to Friday, from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM.

Is it possible to split one deposit into several transactions?

Unfortunately, there is no such possibility. Each transfer is treated as a separate transaction that can only be exchanged for one currency. The payment may not be split.

What happens to excess funds when the exchange rate changes after the transfer?

In the case of PLN and a currency sent to us from a bank where we have an account in this currency, the funds remaining after the exchange are automatically sent to the source account. In the case of a currency sent from a bank in which we do not have an account in this currency (as well as from abroad), it is only possible to exchange the entire amount sent. It is not possible for the surplus of the paid funds to remain in the User’s profile for further disposal.

Where can I find up-to-date information about possible delays?

Notifications regarding bank or system failures and anticipated delays in processing or sending transfers are posted in the Customer Panel.

Exchange at the current rate

What is the exchange at the current rate (confirmation of the rate before payment)?

The exchange at the current rate is one of the ways to make transactions on our website. When placing an order, you confirm the exchange rate. This will be your exchange rate for the transaction, regardless of whether the global market rate changes before your transfer reaches us. In order for the exchange to take place, it is necessary that you make a transfer to us immediately after placing the order in the Customer Panel

What happens if I pay a different amount than the one that appeared in the payment details when ordering the exchange?

In the Customer Panel, we always show the exact amount to be paid for an exchange at the current rate (confirmation of the exchange rate before payment). In order for the transaction to proceed correctly, you must pay the exact amount indicated in the order. Otherwise, there may be delays and difficulties with posting funds in the Customer Panel, as well as with the exchange itself (the transaction may not be carried out automatically). We will contact you if we receive an amount that is less than or more than what we expected.

What if I have a bank limit and I can't pay the declared amount right away?

In order for the declared amount to be exchanged, we expect a specific payment in one transfer. If we do not receive these funds in the amount indicated in the Customer Panel, then no exchange will take place. If you are unable to send the appropriate amount because you have withdrawal limits on your account, we suggest contacting your bank and changing these arrangements or making several separate exchanges for smaller amounts within your daily withdrawal limit.

Can I pay the missing amount?

No, because we expect a one-time transfer in the specific amount declared in the Customer Panel. You cannot split the exchange amount into two transfers. Therefore, an additional payment will not result in the execution of your transaction. The additional payment may be recognized by our system as a payment for the next transaction rather than the one you initiated.

With what title should I send the transfer?

Each of your exchange orders at the current rate is an individual transaction. We will provide you with a specific title in the transfer details. It is important that you do not modify this title and send the transfer with the code indicated in the Customer Panel. If you use a different title, the transaction may be put on hold and you will have to decide whether you want to return the funds or exchange them at the new current rate

Does the service of exchanging at the current rate have a limit?

Limits apply only to exchanges at the current rate (confirmation of the exchange rate before payment). The first such exchange has a maximum limit of PLN 10,000. If you carry out another exchange at the current rate, the limit of funds that can be exchanged using the option of confirming the rate before payment is PLN 100,000. If you exceed this limit, the option to exchange at the current rate will be blocked, but you will still be able to choose another exchange option, e.g. At the rate as of transfer receipt. If you choose another exchange option, these restrictions do not apply.
