Transfers

What payments does InternetowyKantor.pl not accept?

We will not book in your profile:

  • cash deposits made at a bank or a post office branch,
  • deposits that were made through online payment intermediaries, e.g. Płatności.pl, PayPal, BlueCash, etc.,
  • deposits from accounts not owned by you.

How does combining deposits with the same titles work?

If the “Combine payments with the same titles” option is selected in the Customer Panel, all transfers with the same titles sent by you will be combined and made available for exchange as one deposit in the Customer Panel. This means that if we receive two transfers from you, e.g. for PLN 10 and PLN 20 with the title “BUY EUR”, you will see one deposit of PLN 30 in the Panel.

When the „Combine payments with the same titles” option is not selected and you send two transfers with the same titles, each transfer will be booked separately and must be exchanged separately.
Combining deposits with the same titles will work if all of the following conditions are met jointly:

  1. all transfers must have the same titles,
  2. the User’s source accounts must be in the same currency,
  3. transfers must be sent to the same InternetowyKantor.pl account.

What is a payment service?

It is providing the possibility of making payment transactions (transfer of funds) to an account of another person or company. The payment service allows you to directly and easily e.g. transfer funds to a loved one or pay an invoice.

Terms and Conditions for the provision of payment services

Who can be the recipient of the transfer?

The recipient of the transfer can be either a natural or a legal person who has an account at one of the banks operating in Poland or in one of the supported countries.

What is the transfer cost?

InternetowyKantor.pl does not charge for the service. Possible additional fees result from the costs of transfers to banks where Currency One does not have accounts. You can find more details in th price list.

Can I order a transfer abroad?

Yes, of course, you can send the currency exchanged through InternetowyKantor.pl to your own or another person’s or institution’s foreign account, held in one of the countries we support.

Why is the sender of the transfer Currency One?

Currency One is the operator of InternetowyKantor.pl, therefore all outgoing transfers are sent from the operator’s accounts. In order for the recipient of the transfer to recognize that he received it on your behalf, provide all relevant information in the transfer title (e.g. name and surname of the sender, invoice number, order title).

QR codes

What is a QR code?

It is a type of barcode which can store a large amount of data. Our QR code contains the necessary data to make a transfer in PLN. The QR code complies with the standards of the Polish Bank Association described in the document “Recommendation of the Polish Bank Association regarding a two-dimensional (“2D”) code, enabling the execution of a transfer order and the activation of banking services on the Polish market”. Currently, banks only allow QR code payments in PLN.

How to use QR code payments?

In order to make a QR code payment, you need to download the mobile application of a bank that allows you to scan a barcode. Then, select the code scanning option (e.g. “Scan and pay”) and scan the code with your device. All the data necessary for making the payment will appear on the screen.

What data does our QR code contain?

The QR code contains data about our bank account, the name of our company, the title of the transfer, and the amount. In the case of an exchange at the current rate, rewrite the title with the letters “CTB” and the code that we have provided in the transfer details in your profile and do not change the amount of the deposit. Generally, banking applications will not allow you to change the amount indicated in the QR code, but pay attention.

Why could QR code scanning not work?

Errors appearing when reading a QR code may be caused by a malfunction of the scanner in your device.

Who can use the QR code?

This payment method may be used by anyone who has a mobile banking application that enables QR code scanning.

Our QR code is displayed next to transfer details for the customers of the following banks:

  • Alior Bank
