You can deposit money for exchange from any bank in Poland or abroad. We accept transfers from over 40 countries. InternetowyKantor.pl does not charge any fees for accepting funds.

You can send the exchanged funds to any Polish bank or abroad to over 40 countries.

The times for booking incoming transfers and authorising outgoing transfers depend on the working hours of the banks – transfers ordered on a non-working day or at night will be processed on the next working day.

We hold accounts in banks marked as EXPRESS and handle withdrawals without additional fees. Find your bank on the list, click "Expand" and find out in which currencies it is possible.

The processing times are provided for indicative purposes – there may be delays in banks, which is beyond the control of InternetowyKantor.pl. If we receive a transfer just before the cut-off time stated above, there is no guarantee that we will process it on the same day. When making currency transfers to or from banks where we do not have accounts, there might be instances, although very rare, where intermediary banks impose additional charges. Such charges do not apply to transfers in the currencies of EEA countries sent within the EEA and in the OUR mode for transfers made outside the EEA.

How are transactions carried out in banks where InternetowyKantor.pl does not have an account in a given currency?

PLN transfers

Return PLN transfers from InternetowyKantor.pl to Polish banks in which we do not have a PLN account are always free of charge. They are booked in customers’ accounts in accordance with Elixir sessions, i.e. within a few hours, no later than on the next working day.

Currency transfers

InternetowyKantor.pl allows you to choose the type of currency transfer depending on the currency and the country to which it will be sent after the exchange:

  • SEPA – applies only to EUR sent within the EEA area – the transfer is booked in the recipient’s account within 2 working days of sending the transfer, no costs of intermediary banks;
  • SPOT – dapplies to EUR (when the exchanged funds are sent to a foreign account in a country outside the EEA) or other currencies – booked in the customer’s account up to 3 working days from sending the transfer. There may be costs of intermediary banks in the case of currencies or banks outside the EEA;
  • TODAY – jan accelerated transfer – booked in the recipient’s account on the same working day at the latest. There may be costs of intermediary banks in the case of currencies or banks outside the EEA;
  • TODAY-OUR – a type of accelerated transfer, booked in the recipient’s account on the same working day at the latest, executed only for countries outside the EEA, for which there are no costs of intermediary banks.

From December 15, 2019, SEPA transfers within the EEA are free of charge. SPOT, TODAY and TODAY-OUR transfers are paid and the fee is included in the exchange rate. Detailed information on fees can be found in the Fees and invoices section.

How are transfers made within the EEA?

InternetowyKantor.pl allows you to send currency transfers to over 40 countries, but only some of them are located in the European Economic Area (EEA). Transfers made between EEA countries in the currencies of these countries do not carry the risk of intermediary bank costs.

Our offer also includes currencies of countries outside the EEA, such as the USD, which can be sent to an account in a EEA country, e.g. Germany, and to an account in a country outside the EEA, such as Azerbaijan.

Similarly, the currency of EEA countries, e.g. EUR, can be sent to the account in a EEA country, e.g. Germany, as well as to an account in a country outside the EEA, e.g. Azerbaijan.

InternetowyKantor.pl gives you the option of choosing the type of transfer in the Customer Panel, depending on the currency and country connected with the transaction. Detailed information on fees for sending a foreign currency transfer can be found in the Fees and invoices section.

Can I make transactions with accounts in two different banks?

Yes, having accounts in two different banks, you can make currency exchange transactions in InternetowyKantor.pl.

Is an Inteligo account treated as a PKO BP account?

Yes, because Inteligo accounts are provided by PKO Bank Polski. Exchanges involving these accounts are subject to the same rules as transactions in PKO BP.

How to make a currency transfer from Credit Agricole to InternetowyKantor.pl?

When sending an EUR, USD, GBP transfer from Credit Agricole CA24 banking to InternetowyKantor.pl, use the following tab: Payments – New transfers – Foreign currency transfer – Other currency transfers (SWIFT) and select the transfer currency from the drop-down list.

PLEASE NOTE!

The recipient’s account number should be provided in the IBAN format. In order for the transfer to be booked in our account as soon as possible, please select the highest priority for a given currency (express for EUR and USD, urgent for GBP). Also note that ultimately the transfer will be executed as an inter-branch transfer, which will be indicated in the transfer “recipient” field before confirming the transfer with an authentication code.

How are transactions made by BPH customers carried out?

Due to the incorporation of Bank BPH SA’s core operations into Alior Bank, the customers of BPH automatically became customers of Alior Bank and are subject to the service rules for Alior Bank.

Only retail mortgage borrowers remained in BPH. Transfers from InternetowyKantor.pl to BPH remain free of charge and will be processed by the end of the next working day at the latest. We send these transfers from our accounts at Alior Bank, so the booking time will be extended, and it may also happen that a fee for accepting the transfer is charged – please refer to the Table of Fees and Commissions applicable to your bank account.

What is the processing time for mBank transactions?

InternetowyKantor.pl has accounts in mBank’s corporate banking. Transactions of customers who also have accounts in corporate banking are processed by us in the express mode. For customers with mBank retail accounts (account numbers XX 1140 2004 … and XX 1140 2017 …) the rules described below apply.

PLN transfers between mBank’s corporate and retail accounts are free of charge. EUR, CHF, USD, GBP transfers sent from InternetowyKantor.pl to mBank’s retail accounts are also free of charge

Due to the changes announced by mBank, it is now possible to send free currency transfers also from retail to corporate banking, but please contact your bank for details. PLN transfers sent from mBank’s retail banking are booked in mBank’s corporate banking accounts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Transfers ordered after 6:00 PM are booked on the next working day.

EUR, USD, CHF and GBP transfers sent from mBank’s retail banking to InternetowyKantor.pl are booked on the same or the next working day, at the latest, in 3 sessions starting at the following times:

  • 1st session: 10:45 AM
  • 2nd session: 1:45 PM
  • 3rd session: 4:45 PM

EUR, USD, CHF and GBP transfers sent from InternetowyKantor.pl to mBank accounts are booked in customers’ accounts within a few hours or on the next working day, according to mBank’s internal retail banking sessions.

Why aren’t currency transfers to Pekao Bank Hipoteczny SA free of charge?

Pekao Bank Hipoteczny SA is a division of Bank BPH spun off in 2007, the assets of which were incorporated into the Unicredit group – the owner of Bank Pekao SA. Previously, this division of the bank was called BPH Hipoteczny. Since 2008, the name has been changed to Pekao Bank Hipoteczny SA. Currently, Pekao Bank Hipoteczny SA is a subsidiary of Pekao SA, but in fact they are two different banks.

InternetowyKantor.pl does not have accounts with Pekao Bank Hipoteczny SA, therefore a fee is charged when sending currency to customers’ accounts held at this bank.

How are transactions within Santander Consumer Bank carried out?

Santander Consumer Bank provides its borrowers with foreign currency accounts to repay loans either directly or at Santander Bank Polska (formerly BZ WBK). The bank where the account was opened can be recognized by its number (i.e. from 3rd to the 6th digit):

  • if the account number provided by the bank to repay the loan is XX 2120 … or XX 1960… –  it is a Santander Consumer Bank account. Foreign currency transfers from InternetowyKantor.pl to this account will be subject to a fee and the transfer sent by us will be credited to the customer’s account within 3 working days;
  • if the account number is 1090, it means that it is held at Santander Bank Polska (formerly BZ WBK), where there is one dedicated account for each currency shared with Santander Consumer Bank borrowers. Due to the fact that we hold our CHF, EUR, USD and GBP accounts in Santander Bank Polska (formerly BZ WBK), transfers from us to foreign currency accounts held in Santander Bank Polska (formerly BZ WBK) are free of charge. After we have completed the exchange in your profile, we will make the payout on the next working day at the latest.
